It is the season of placements and everybody is looking out for the organizations contracting the most number of understudies and offering the greatest recompense.
In the not so distant future, SRM University, Kattankulathur, saw three significant IT firms offering occupations to 3,689 understudies on the first day of grounds meeting sessions.
Addressing mediapersons, president of SRM University and overseeing chief of SRM Group of Institutions P. Sathyanayaranan said that Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro had together offered this record number of arrangements for the group of 2015. “While Cognizant made 1,502 employment offers, Infosys offered 1,105 and Wipro, 1,082. All these arrangements were offered in a solitary day of the grounds recruitment drive that started a few days back,” he included. The compensation bundle went from Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 3.5 lakh.
Mr. Sathyanarayanan said Works Applications, a Japanese organization, offered the most noteworthy yearly bundle of Rs. 5 million Japanese Yen (Rs. 33 lakh roughly) for a software engineering last year understudy, Abhishek Gupta.
