KOCHI: Kerala governor has delegated Dr J Letha, executive, Technical Education Kerala, as bad habit chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT).
She is the thirteenth bad habit chancellor of CUSAT and in addition the first lady to be delegated to the post. Kerala representative is the chancellor of the college.
Dr Letha will assume responsibility of the new post on October 20, a college press discharge said on Saturday.
Dr K Poulose Jacob, genius bad habit chancellor of the college was holding charge of bad habit chancellor after Dr Ramachandran Thekkedath abandoned the post on January three in the not so distant future.
Dr Letha who has more than 27 years’ of involvement in instructing, examination and organization had served as foremost, College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, dignitary, Faculty of Engineering, University of Kerala and as recorder, TEQUIP.
A Civil Engineering move on from Engineering College, Thiruvanathapuram, Dr Letha won the gold award for her M.tech from IIT, Madras, where she procured her Phd as well.
She joined as speaker in Civil Engineering at NIT, Calicut and served in different limits, including essential. She joined as Technical Education chief in 2011.
Dr Letha has additionally served on the representing sheets of IIT, Madras, IIITMK, NIT, Calicut, University of Kerala, LBS Institute of Technology and Kerala State Pollution Control Board. She is additionally a part of the CUSAT Syndicate.
