KOLHAPUR: The examination bureau of Shivaji University on Thursday talked about the abbreviated semester plan in a workshop for school principals, teachers and authorities at Kamala College in the city.
“The college has cut down the whole timetable of the semester examination from 79 days to 57 days. Actually, this is simply the starting, the examination office is wanting to let down the timetable to 45 days in the following stage and at last to inside 30 days in future. This is not going to be a simple undertaking. So the workshop, as it were, serves as the introduction for the each individual included in this procedure,” said a college official.
As per the official, in excess of 200 principals, instructors, and workers from the examination division were available for the workshop.
“Shivaji University leads around 627 examinations every semester and around 4,000 paper setters are locked in for setting around 6,000 inquiry papers. Generally speaking, more than 12 lakh answer sheets are evaluated consistently at the division,” included the authority.
Kranti Kumar Patil , the president of the Shivaji University Principal Association (SUPA), the parts of which had enrolled their disappointment over the protracted semester exam example a year ago, said, “The recently selected controller of examinations (COE) is arranging difficult to cut down the general the timetable to inside a month and has begun making legitimate strides for it.”
