No less than 2,000 Kyambogo University understudies who had neglected to finish their projects inside the stipulated period have until one month from now to continue their studies.
The choice of the college to give another opportunity for the understudies who have exceeded was made as of late by the organization’s senate, its most astounding scholarly organ.
At first, the understudies who took excessively long to finish their courses confronted rejection.
Rose Bwire, the college’s scholarly recorder, told New Vision said the reprieve will just profit understudies who joined Uganda’s second biggest state funded college after the 2005/2006 scholastic year.
Notwithstanding Kyambogo offering an extra two years after slip by of the stipulated time of study, it has developed that a large number of understudies who joined the establishment after the 2005/2006 scholastic year are yet to graduate.
Presently, they have two more years to graduate.
“The absolution period blankets just two scholarly years 2014/2015 to 2015/2016 amid which the concerned understudies can fulfill their studies,” said Bwire.
Bwire said the move to allow the understudies to continue their studies is gone for clearing excess of a few projects and guaranteeing productivity in operations of the college.

“We trust they will finish their studies in the following two years.”
