London Graduate Degree Show

Capable Architecture graduates from UWE Bristol will divulge their first ever London Degree Show from 04-06 July 2014 at the Candid Arts Trust. This is the first run through in the 18 year history of the course that the degree show has been taken to London, denoting a genuine development for the Department of Architecture and the Built Environment.
The show and private review on Thursday 3 July will be opened by UWE Bristol, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Steve West and George Ferguson, the Mayor of Bristol and past RIBA President.
The nighttime is likewise a chance to praise the retirement of Professor Richard Parnaby who joined UWE Bristol in 1996. Richard assumed a key part in creating the UK’s first new school of building design since the 1960s, focused on interesting joint college classes in construction modeling and arranging and structural planning and ecological designing.
On presentation at the show will be a determination of work from our Ba(hons) Architecture and Planning (RIBA Part I/ RTPI), Beng(hons) Architecture Environmental Engineering (RIBA Part I/ CIBSE), Bsc (Hons) Architecture Technology and Design (CIAT) and Masters of Architecture (RIBA Part II).
There will be an Open Day on Saturday 5 July for prospective understudies to view the work of the division.
Elena Marco, Associate Head of Department for Architecture, said, “We have brought our degree show to London to guarantee that our understudies captivate with the top structural planning and building practices in the nation. We are quick to captivate with London professionals and showcase all the phenomenal work of our graduating understudies, and in addition to say thank you to partners who have helped us as going to mentors, commentators or outer teachers over the previous years.
“The Department of Architecture and the Built Environment intends to offer a transformative encounter over all our projects of study at UG and PG level.
