Marseille a teacher had killed on the eve of the season 2013 in a letter denouncing the implementation of reforms.
The National Education acknowledged that the suicide of a teacher of a school in Marseille at his home on the eve of the 2013-2014 return was directly related to working conditions.

The rector of the Academy of Aix-Marseille announced Friday during an academic technical committee, bringing together representatives of the staff and administration that suicide was “attributable to service,” said Séverine Vernet, a regional officer SNES-FSU.

“This means the recognition that this action has a direct link with the work, only work explains the gesture. It is also the recognition of deficiencies in the administration in supporting staff and resources allocated to preventive medicine, “said Séverine Vernet, academic secretary of HSC.

The Rector has confirmed in a statement that information, stating that the wife of the teacher had requested that the suicide of her husband “is considered by the Directors of Education as an accident service” and was “immediately informed” of the decision.

Jacque Pierre, professor of electronic serial STI2D (Industrial Science and Technology and Sustainable Development) high school Antonin Artaud (13th arrondissement) ended his days on 1 September 2013 at age 55, saying in a letter addressed to his colleagues that “the business as it has evolved,” he was “more acceptable in conscience.”

In this letter, which was published in September Liberation Pierre Jacque particular complained about the conditions of the “implementation of the reform” of the former Minister of National Education Luc Chatel “made hussar in a state of panic that the inspection can not hide. ”

CHSCTs “alerted at the time of administration on the growing personal suffering due to this reform STI2D die,” said Séverine Vernet, believing that this recognition, a first in the academy, was “essential” for family of the professor, who was married with two daughters. (AFP)
