Azerbaijan increases admission plan to universities

The plan of admission to universities has been increased in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Chairperson of the State Student Admission Commission Maleyka Abbaszadeh said at press conference that the plan of admission to universities was 36,537 in 2013.

11,596 places were allocated for the 1st specialty group, 10,094 places for the 2nd specialty group, 10,397 places for the 3rd specialty group, and 4,450 places for the 4th specialty group last year.

And this year, the plan of admission to universities is 37,956 places. This year, 12,052 places have been allocated for the 1st specialty group, 10,969 places for the 2nd specialty group, 10,453 places for the 3rd specialty group, and 4,482 places for the 4th specialty group.

The selection of specialties to universities on all the specialty groups will be done via the Internet from July 24 to August 5 after the examination results of students are announced.
