Triton College’s School of Business is taking the initiative to develop new partnerships with Chicagoland universities to better connect Triton students to pursuing a four-year degree.
The department has recently signed articulation agreements with Robert Morris University and National Louis University that allows for a seamless transition for students to transfer their credits toward a baccalaureate business program offered at the universities.
“Our mission is to help students, both transfer students and those seeking employment, prepare for the workplace environment,” said Dr. William Griffin, chair of Triton’s School of Business. “These top-notch institutions believe in the quality education we provide to our students, and we’re thrilled that they’ve signed on to partner with us on this mission to prepare students for success.”
“The relationship Robert Morris University Illinois has formed with Triton is an example of providing value and service to students who are looking to complete their bachelor’s degree at an accelerated pace and as economically as possible,” said RMU Provost Mablene Krueger.
“National Louis’ partnership with Triton College underscores our commitment to provide higher education opportunities to students in our communities,” said Chris Cassirer, Sc.D., Dean of the College of Management and Business and College of Arts and Sciences at National Louis University. “We are pleased that this collaboration will provide Triton students seeking a baccalaureate degree in business a chance to smoothly transition to National Louis where they can fulfill their academic and professional goals.”
Triton students completing their Associate in Science or Applied Science degree in one of Triton’s business and/or accounting programs are eligible to enroll in Robert Morris University’s Business Administration bachelor’s degree program at junior level status. Also, students will be able to complete their bachelor’s degree at Robert Morris University in as little as 15 months.
Triton students who earn their A.A., A.S. or A.A.S. degree can pursue a B.S. in Management at National Louis University.
