UAE universities expel eight Kuwaiti students over forming a student union

The Universities of Sharjah and Ajman have dismissed eight Kuwaiti students for forming a student union without permission.

A source at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said the students also broke the law by raising unauthorised donations.

“The UAE welcomes brother students from Kuwait,” the source affirmed, adding that more than 670 male and female Kuwaiti students are studying in Ajman University and 750 others attending the University of Sharjah(The National)
