Turkish, Japanese universities sign agreement

Ankara’s ​​Hacettepe University and Tokyo Women’s Medical University sign five-year protocol

Ankara’s ​​Hacettepe University and the Tokyo Women’s Medical University signed a cooperation protocol on Sunday, which includes a student exchange program, in Tokyo.

Turkey’s ambassador to Tokyo attended the signing ceremony for the five-year agreement, a written statement from Hacettepe University said.

“This collaboration will benefit both universities,” stated Professor Hirosaki Kasanuki, after whose 2013 visit to Hacetepp,e the cooperation was decided on.

Noting that students from the universities will be able to participate in an exchange program, Turkish Professor Murat Tuncer added:“Japanese officials are welcoming toward both Turkey and our university.”
