280 new international students will be learning at the University of Windsor for the winter semester.
International Student Adivsor Enrique Chacon welcomed roughly 200 international students to an orientation seminar on Saturday at Vanier Hall. He says the university is seeing an increasing trend of international students on campus.
“A Canadian education is well regarded,” says Chacon. “Engineering, science and business; those are the ones that students come to study most.”
Vice-Provost, Students and International Clayton Smith says the University of Windsor sees a wide variety of international students with over 100 countries represented on the University of Windsor campus. Smith adds international students make up 13% of the student body on campus.
