About Scholarship: The Center is proud to announce two new Levant Post-Doctoral Fellowships, established by a generous grant from the Levant Foundation. The fellowships, which will be available for the next two academic years, support two recent Ph.D.’s working on the greater Levantine region – defined as Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Turkey – in the study of the history, culture, society, religion and current political context of the region.

Duration: Two years

Value: $40,000 – $45,000 stipend, plus benefits 

Eligibility:

• Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree between January 1, 2011 and August 31, 2013

• Applicants will be assessed on the originality of their scholarship and the high quality of their academic record

Scholarship Open for: The students of Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Turkey can apply for this scholarship.
