The University of Abertay Dundee will formally open the 2012/13 Academic Year in a ceremony at Dundee’s Caird Hall on Monday 10 September, starting at 10am.
Senior academic staff of the University, accompanied by the Lord Provost of Dundee, will formally process into the Caird Hall at 10 am for the welcome addresses.
New students will then be welcomed to the University by the Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel Seaton, and to the student body by William Mohieddeen, President of the University of Abertay Dundee Students Association. They will also be welcomed to the City of Dundee by Lord Provost Bob Duncan.
