Université de Moncton men and women’s soccer teams take to the field this weekend for two exhibition games at the Stade Moncton 2012 Stadium.

The Aigles Bleus men’s team host l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières for two games Saturday at 2 pm and Sunday at 11 am. The Aigles Bleues women’s team will play at 11 am and 2 pm respectively against FC Chaleur.

”I look forward to seeing my athletes under game conditions,” said Moncton coach Angelo Jean-Baptiste. ”We have had a full week of training and I have pretty well chosen my players for both teams. I will take advantage of the weekend games to complete my line-up and bring changes to get ready for the regular season next week.”

Patrick Gautreau, with the women’s team, and Saïd Mékary, with the men’s, are the assistant coaches.

Regular season play for the Aigles teams begin next weekend as they travel to Wolfville to meet Acadia University teams on Friday September 7th. The first home games are Sunday September 9th at 1 pm (women) and 3:15 pm (men) as Moncton hosts the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers at the Stade Moncton 20120 Stadium.
