Furman University has been listed as one of the top universities in the nation, according to the Princeton Review.
Included in the 2013 edition of The Best 377 Colleges, Furman joins four other South Carolina colleges that made the list – Clemson, Wofford, College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina.
Rankings in the 2013 college guide, released Tuesday, were based on The Princeton Review’s survey of 122,000 students attending the 377 colleges in the book.
The 80 question survey asked students to rate their schools on various topics and report their campus experiences.
Roughly 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges – as well as three colleges outside of the U.S. – are profiled in the book.
