Eligibility:
- Have a First Class or 2A Honours.
- Be accepted into a PhD or professional doctorate.
Scholarship Open for International Students: Yes
Scholarship Description: Normally, tuition fees will be covered under the Research Training Scheme (RTS) or a QUT Higher Degree Research Tuition Award. Scholarship will be tax-free if you’re studying full-time. If you’re studying part-time, your scholarship can be taxed.
You’ll receive:
A scholarship, indexed annually ($23,728 in 2012). The scholarship is tax exempt, and is for living costs for up to 2 years for masters students and 3 years for PhD students.
Normally, tuition fees will be covered under the Research Training Scheme (RTS) or a QUT Higher Degree Research Tuition Award.
Your scholarship will end when you submit your thesis, or at the end of the award’s tenure.
You can also apply for:
* A $1,520 relocation allowance (domestic students only)
* $420 (Masters by Research), or $840 (PhD) thesis allowance after submitting your thesis
