Eligibility:
- Preference will be given to those who are working on inter-disciplinary topics, Comparative Dravidian, Language Typology and Translation with special emphasis to the classical period.
- The candidate should not have exceeded 40 years of age as on 16 th August 2012. Age relaxation will be allowed for OBC candidates (three years) and SC/ST candidates (five years).
Scholarship Description: In order to promote scholarship in Classical Tamil, the Central Institute of Classical Tamil proposes to award Postdoctoral Fellowships to eligible candidates. The Postdoctoral Fellowship includes award of Rs. 18,000/- per month for 2 years with a contingency grant of Rs. 30,000/- per annum.
