The respective Dominican and Cuban Universities of the Caribbean (Unicaribe) and the University of Havana (UH) will exchange experiences in teaching, research and culture in general sense.
To comply with the objectives, both parties signed a cooperation agreement that includes the development of training programs and the inter-relation among students, professors and researchers.
The document was signed by the rector of such Dominican center, Jose Andres Aybar and his Cuban peer Gustavo Cobreiro.
The latter attended in the capital the First Assembly of the Union of Latin American Universities.
The implementation of cooperation modalities included in the document will be the focus of a program of common accord between both institutions, the text states.
Programs and projects will be included in an attached document, in which academic, scientific and administrative details will be established.
Founded in October 1995 and with the beginning of its first course a year later, Unicaribe is an open, on line, blended higher education institute, while the UH was founded in January 1728.
