Strathmore students in collaboration with the international students association AIESEC have organized an ‘Aid to AIDS Campaign’ to raise funds for HIV/AID orphaned children in Nyeri. The target is to reach Ksh. 1 million with different activities as cake sales, sponsorship forms, selling AIESEC merchandise and even the climb to Mount Kilimanjaro next 24th of August.
‘The Kilimanjaro Aid to AIDS’ climbing campaign, which is spear-headed by Fahad Adil, the Vice President of the Global Community Development Program in AIESEC Strathmore; pretends to show that anything is possible. Strathmore students have teamed up with University of Maastrich (Netherlands) for it.
AIESEC is a student-run organization present in over 110 countries which is focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development. AIESEC tries to offer young people the opportunity to be global citizens and to get experience and skills that matter today.
