Journalists between the ages of 18 and 30 can participate in this event in Brussels.
European Youth Press, in collaboration with the European Parliament, invites young journalists to participate in the European Youth Media Days held Oct. 16-18.
The event, the largest of its kind in Europe for young journalists, will focus on the economic crisis that is currently threatening Europe. Over the course of the three-day workshop, each young journalist will work with his/her peers to produce a report on the topic of the seminar through their medium of choice – video, photo, radio, print or multimedia.
Travel costs will be reimbursed by the European Parliament. Working journalists will receive a lump sum of EUR€360 (about US$454) for participating, journalism students or interns will receive and EUR€180 (about US$230.)
Young journalists from other countries can participate but must pay their own expenses.
