Oxford University imparts training to 105 teachers

Teachers from the Oxford University have imparted training to 105 Pakistani counterparts in latest English language methodologies in nine sessions.

According to a statement issued, Elna Coetzer and Patrick Manuel Shortt from the University of Oxford, Department of Continuous Education, are currently on their first-ever six-day visit to Pakistan.

They have transmitted knowledge and skills to teachers of Pak-Turk International Schools and Colleges in Islamabad before proceeding to Lahore and Karachi, it added.

After the training sessions, the trainers informed that the Oxford University has decided to send trainers to different countries for professional development of the teaching staff.

After being apprised of the latest methods, the teachers will submit reports to Oxford University, where decision regarding certification will be taken after thorough evaluation.
