A delegation of twenty-five French schools and universities will be on an eight-day visit to India to identify prospective candidates for higher education in France and explore possible collaborations with Indian institutions. The delegation comprises nine engineering schools, twelve business schools, two universities, one school of languages and one school of hotel and tourism management.
This Admission Tour 2012, organized by the Embassy of France in India and CampusFrance Paris, will take place from 4 to 12 February 2012 in the cities of Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
The 25 French institutions will meet top Vice-Chancellors and Principals to consider possible ways of establishing exchanges with Indian institutes at various levels: faculty exchange but also that of researchers and students. They thus aim to benefit mutually to enhance the quality of their programmes.
Representatives of the French institutions will also interact on a one-on-one basis with students registered for the event. They will obtain a detailed presentation of course options and scholarship opportunities, be given not only counselling based on their profiles and aims, but may also receive on spot admission offers. They will thus have the opportunity to be part of the community of the 2,78,000 foreign students currently in France, which ranks third globally in hosting foreign students.
