Educational Options Open for Project Management Professionals and Business Leaders with New Collaboration
Irvine, California: The University of California, Irvine Extension signed an articulation agreement with Brandman University to open educational pathways for project management professionals. The partnership allows students who complete the Project Management Certificate Program at UC Irvine Extension the opportunity to apply elective credits to Brandman University’s Master in Business Administration (MBA) and/or Master in Organizational Leadership (MAOL).
“We are pleased to collaborate with Brandman University to provide students with new options to their career path,” said Melanie Mitchell, acting director of marketing, management and business programs at UC Irvine Extension. “Project management professionals will have increased opportunities to further their education and master new areas of business.”
UC Irvine Extension’s Project Management Certificate Program equips participants with the tools to effectively initiate, plan, control and close a project, as well as become an effective team leader. This articulation agreement allows participants interested in business leadership to seamlessly transfer 12 graduate elective credits to the Brandman University programs. Students must complete the UC Irvine Extension Project Management Certificate Program in order to transfer credits to Brandman University.
“This partnership with UC Irvine Extension has already opened some doors of opportunity for our students and we are really excited about it,” said Glenn Worthington, dean at Brandman University School of Business and Professional Studies. “The articulation agreement will allow our MBA and MAOL students to accelerate their career goals.”
