Indore, Oct. 17: Students aspiring to undertake five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at the Indian Institute of Management immediately after Class XII can now pursue bachelor’s degree through distance education along with IPM diploma course.
Director of IIM-I, N Ravichandran, said: “Since most applicants aspire for a degree, we are exploring options like accreditation of IPM program to an MBA program with reputed universities in India in order to fulfill their desire. We have decided to allow students to pursue bachelor’s degree course through distance education.”
The institute will also provide support in terms of time management and other logistics. The students have to enroll for a program of their choice and get the degree.
